Toilet trauma

Okay so maybe I heard wrong about the night bus having beds! I kind of imagined a Harry Potter stylie bus but the beds were more like reclining chairs, still it was better than sitting up all night!  

We had one stop off in 12 hours so obviously I was desperate to use the loo. Imagine the disappointment when this came into view...
Not ideal but tbh I've probably been in worse!

Thai stylie

Last night we wondered down Bangkok's most famous road (for tourists and bars I mean) we had cocktails and a massage! All for under £10!! 



Tday I'm rockin my Thai trousers... 
We're off to get the night bus down to Phuket so thought I'd wear a comfy outfit! The bus is 13 hours but I hear there's beds, wish me luck!

I got my life on my back

So I've arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, it's so hot and humid and I have a massive backpack full of my life for the next three weeks weighing me down! 


Today we went for a wonder, visiting markets, shops and to get an idea of our surroundings! I bought some harem trousers, obvs! Standard backpacker attire! 

I'm currently eating Thai noodles and veg, but I think I went a bit overboard with the chilli oil! My mouths on fire! 

Anyways I'm off to get the cocktails in! Byee!

Long time no see

Heyy guys it's been forever since I have written anything on here! It's been a crazy busy final year at university...I'm so sad to have left Brighton but so excited about the future!  I've just finished an internship at company magazine where I was selected as a finalist to edit the October issue! I need to tell you all about it, but at the moment I'm in Thailand so thought I'd keep you all updated with that!

Zombie Apocalypse

Last Saturday, the Zombies hit Brighton again!  There were thousands of zombies, if you didn't know what was going on you would genuinely think it was a zombie apocalypse.  It was such a good atmosphere, but really quite scary.  We ended up watching girly films to make sure we didn't have the zombies in our head before bed time!

Onesie Party

Ive waited such a long time to blog about this but couldn't because it was a surprise for my friend Nikis birthday! 
For her 21st she planned a onesie party, so Spanna and I decided to make ours and make Niki one as a surprise! It's a wonder we kept it a secret for so long!
We thought it would be fun to go as dinosaurs, so dip dyed grey onesies pink and green, then sewed yellow triangles down the back! On Nikis we put a 21 on the front and then made her close her eyes to get changed so it was even more of a surprise!

It was so much fun, but so so hot we ended up walking around like this...


We even had a bouncy castle  (Nikis fame move)...


At about 3 in the afternoon we thought it would be a great idea to walk to the shop in our onesies and get some alcohol, there were three of us; two dinosaurs and a 'chav' who looked like she was going to rob the whole shop!  We just strolled in there and everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at us, a little girl looked at us like christmas had come early!  We were laughing so much we literally couldn't stand up!

Beat box Coke structure

Coke had a structure/promotion in the park which was amazing! It was designed to collaborate sport and music! Athletes were recorded in different countries and the red pads were touch sensitive, so when you pressed them you would hear the athletes whether they were playing tennis or running! There was a huge structure that you walk round doing this, then when you get to the inside there was beat boxers and dancers and free coke!!

End of the Olympics

I'm so sad it's the end of the Olympics! I can't even remember what I watched before it. Last Wednesday I went to the Olympic park to watch the BMXing, it was such a good day, good atmosphere and so much to do! We wore our union jack outfits, and when we got there we were under dressed compared to some other people dressed in red, white and blue!

When we arrived in the park my friend and I spent about half an hour deciding what food to get as there was so much choice, we decided on curry which cost us £10 each!! It was worth it though! We then found a small stage with up and coming bands from all over the country playing which was fun! We saw a band called 'chasing owls' and another girl but I can't remember her name!


The actual event was amazing, I felt a bit sorry for the non GBers as no one really cheered them! But we got to see them all go round the track and then do some tricks in the half time bit! So glad I got I go to the Olympics though, was such a great experience!

Tourist day in London

Just got back from being a tourist in London! Went to see the Olympic rings on tower bridge and took loads of photos, of course! Some American girls asked us to take a photo of them doing the USA sign so we thought it would be a great idea to do GB and failed massively!



On the way to the bridge we came across this...


Can someone please explain it to me because I can't get over it!  A lady even put her hand over the bottom guys head and nothing was there?!

#Olympics

I'm loving the Olympics at the moment, the only thing is theres so many channels and so much going on that I find myself watching it all day and at the end of the day realise I haven't done anything I planned to do!  

Also I love the fact that that I get updates on Twitter, I had to go to a staff meeting today and missed Tom Daley diving and some of the gymnastics, but when I got back I knew from Twitter where they came!  #Ilovetechnology! 

P.S I have a slight crush on Tom Daley, is that bad?  He's like 3 years younger but I mean look at him!!

P.P.S I have tickets to the BMXing!  CAN'T WAIT!
